Ingredients:
10 king prawns
2 garlic cloves
1/2 lemon Juice
1 piri-piri pepper (or chilli flakes)
salt and pepper to gaste
small drizzle olive oil
Batter:
1/2 cup AP flour
1/2 cup rice flour
pinch salt and pepper
1/2 tsp baking powder
2/3 cup ice cold beer
1 egg yolk
Peel and devain the shrimps, marinate for about 30 minutes in the fridge. Whisk the egg yolk, combine beer and last add flour (previously seasoned), do not overmix it, if the batter is too thick just add a little bit more beer, fry the prawns till golden.
